Hi team
There are some quesitons.
1. When they use the internal reference, should REFIO-pin be open?
2. Are there any restriction of DVDD power sequence?
Regards,
Noriyuki Takahashi
Hi Takahashi-san,
You need a bypass cap on the REFIO pin of the ADS8528 (see page 8). There are no power sequence restrictions, please refer to the top of page 46 for details.
Hi Tom,
You need a bypass cap on the REFIO pin of the ADS8528 (see page 8).
What is the recommended value of the bypass cap? I can't see it on the datasheet.
The following is an additional question.
They think ASLEEP, HW/SW, PAR/SER, REFEN/WR and STBY would be connected to DVDD or DGND. Can they connect these pins to DVDD or DGND directly? They want to know whether they need to add any things like resistors between these pins and DVDD or DGND.

Noriyuki Takahashi
Takahashi-san,
REFIO uses 0.47uF. The control pins could be tied directly to power or ground if they prefer not to use pull up/down resistors.
