ADS131M08: ADC DOUT is not coming

Part Number: ADS131M08

I have designed based on ADS131M08, there are few boards where MISO Pin is not any output.

I did check for CLK for IC which is 8.192M

SPI Clock from MCU is also we can see which is 25MHZ

MOSI Signal from MCU is also we can see.. But ADS131M08 is not responding.

Can you please help where we can check for the same?

Hi Deepak,

The minimum SCLK period (tc) of ADS131M08 is 64ns which is 15.6MHz, your SCLK frequency (25MHz) is higher than the requirement. Please fix it and check again.

Additional suggestion, please also check if the DRDYn pin transitions high after power up.

Hi Deepak,

I apologized for my late response, late last week was our holiday.

Thank you for providing the timing for nDRDY. Your ADC is working, Can you directly probe DOUT, SCLK and CSn signals on the pins of the ADC device? Also, have you reduced the SCLK frequency to meet the requirement in the datasheet?
