Hello, 

We are using the ADS1258IRTCR as an 24 bit ADC in our project and we having the next issues: 

  1. With no analog signal input (in all AINxx) we saw a constant -0.6V on all inputs by measuring with DMM.
  2. By Appling 1V in AIN15 - we measured 0.2V on the SPI interface. 
  3. We can't read accurate values of VDD and internal tmp. sensor by the SPI interface - getting wrong values.

We made to communicate with the IC the SPI interface by reading correct ID.

I attached our schematic and we need your review before layout.

    Hi hezi nistani,

    So it sounds like you are able to communicate with the ADC correctly, which is a good start.

    Regarding the incorrect measurements: can you tell us what values you are receiving from the ADC when you read the supply voltages and the internal temp sensor? Please make several measurements and send us the raw ADC data in hex.

    Do you have a logic analyzer? We might need to see the digital communication to better understand what is going on.
