AFE58JD48EVM: What is the difference between the 2 TSW1400EVM firmwares for this AFE?

This seems to be a software bug. Let me check internally and get back to you next Tuesday (29 Nov) after the Thanksgiving break. 

In the mean time, kindly use the 'AFE58JD48_ADC_Firmware' files that is working.

Ok, I understand there may be some delay with the holiday. Here's some more information:

When I use the firmware called AFE58JD48_ADC_Firmware, HSDC Pro attempts to open the GUI for the AFE. While that GUI is opening, it shows a dialog box asking me to select a device, but nothing happens when I click the drop-down (see screenshot). I have no choice but to close the dialog box. After that, the AFE GUI closes because no device was selected. This has happened every time I've tried using this firmware, even after power cycling the EVMs and computer.

So I haven't been able to get it working with AFE58JD48_ADC_Firmware yet either.

Any update on this? I still haven't been able to run any captures with the EVM.

I have also tried running HSDC as an administrator, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Apologies for the delay. We are looking at this internally by trying to replicate your issue. 

May I know which LVDS mode you are trying (1x, 2x, or 0.5x)? Can you try with the HSDC Pro v 5.0.0 which is present on your 'TI my secure share' folder of AFE58JD48?

I have been trying 1x mainly so far. I've tried v5.0 now, and I've put details of what has happened with that in the other thread.
