ADS8166: ADS8166 RESET TIMING

Hello,

In the datasheet it references a power up time for the device but the heading states ASYNCHRONOUS RESET.  Is it true that after every reset even when the power supplies are stable that I have to wait > 10 ms?  

I also see a 4ms to READY max and assumed this is the amount of time I should wait.  

I appreciate confirmation on this ,

    Hi Jason,

    The PD_CNTL Register in the ADS8166 has a reset value of 0x00, so everything is powered up by default.  The power-up times you are highlighting come from changing those various bits from 1 to 0, so that delay time would not apply to a simple ASYNC Reset, unless of course those bits in question were already set to power-down mode of operation.
