ADS8353-Q1: Internal Sampling Capacitor Query

Part Number: ADS8353-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS8353

Hi,

We are using 32 CLK single SDO mode with 3.3V external reference voltage. We feed the ADC input from an opamp output (single-ended) through an RC filter (100ohms, 2.2nF). We use SCLK = 18.75MHz (tacq=1.88us). We understand this part is having two channels with dedicated sampling capacitor (40pF) for each.

Our understanding is that there is an internal switch (50ohms) which connects/ disconnects the external input voltage to the internal sampling capacitor at the start/end of each acquisition phase.

We would like to know if at the end of each conversion time whether the internal sampling capacitor is discharged to 0V or will retain the voltage or will pre-charge to any different voltage before the next acquisition cycle begins.
