TSW1400EVM: "Frame clock error in Read DDR to file" w/ ADS5296AEVM; frame clock and bit clock are present

Hi David, 

Do you have any other TI ADC EVMs with LVDS interface to check if TSW1400 board is working correctly? 

Also, let me check internally to give you access to HSDC Pro v2.1 to replicate the exact setup as mentioned in the user manual.

i do have an ADC3424EVM and am able to read data using the same TSW1400.

I will double check the ADS5296AEVM jumpers, etc., and reply again.

To follow up: I double checked jumpers and 0-ohm straps on the ADS5296A EVM and all appears in order.

I do wonder if the HSDC Pro SW version is compatible. Notice in my screenshot the ADS5296A GUI does not open "in" the HSDC Pro window; I have to launch the application separately. Also, the channel selection in HSDC Pro displays "Channel 1/4" not "Channel 1/8" like I would expect, and is shown in SLAU537.

Thanks for confirming that the EVMs are working correctly. 

I am checking with my team to find the right version of HSDC Pro. I will give an updated by Dec 16, Friday.

Abishek - Thank you for the suggestion, however I get the same result. For the original experiment I have a single 5V, 5A supply for both boards (TSW1400, ADS5296A-EVM). I added a second bench supply to the experiment, rated at 4A, and used that to power the ADS529A-EVM (keeping the 5A supply on the TSW1400).

Same result.
