ADS7128: Recommended ADC

Part Number: ADS7128

Hi Team,

Please help to recommend a suitable ADC, the requirements are as follows:

1. Total number of channels: 10channel
2. Number of digits: 10bit or above

3. Interface: I2C

4. Power supply voltage: 3.3V 

5.sampling rate: Not less than 1.6MSPS

6. My customer is evaluating 4+4+2 and 10-channel solutions. Please recommend related 2-channel, 4-channel, 10-channel ADC.

    Can you double check the sample rate, I2C devices do not tend to support this fast of a sample rate. 

    I did a parametric search based on some other parameters, with 28 devices. Note that none will meet the sample rate, once this is clarified, we can further narrow down the selection

    Thanks for your support. The device is used on an outdoor solar control platform to process multiple sensor signals and so on. Are you familiar with this application? How high a sampling rate is generally required?

    The sampling rate of 1.6MSPS is the suggested value of customer engineers, not a rigid requirement. Thanks.

    specifically for a solar panel, I am not sure, but for multiple sensor measurements, such as temperature and voltage, this is a common use case that does not need a sampling rate this high. 

    Temperature is a very slow changing parameter, checking every millisecond can be good enough. 

    As you noted, the ADS7128 would be a good choice, the ADS7142
