Hi,
Currently, we have a footprint of TXS0104ERGYRG4 part in our existing design. Due to a design error, we have connected VCCA to 3V3 and VCCB to 1V8 in the design. Since TXS0104ERGYRG4 has the condition of VCCA ≤ VCCB and this circuit is not working in our design. To avoid the design changes we are looking for an alternative part for TXS0104ERGYRG4 which is don't have the condition of VCCA ≤ VCCB and I have got below two parts from TI.
1.LSF0204RGYR - For this part can I provide Vref B- 1V8 and Vref A 3V3? It will work? Since the datasheet is not mentioned any voltage level condition like the above and voltage levels also supports our requirement.
2.TXB0104RGYR - For this part, even if voltage supports, in the datasheet they mentioned VCCA must not exceed VCCB. If I Exceed VCCA voltage to 3V3 and VCCB to 1V8, will it work?
If the above part is not suitable, please help to find an alternative part for the same.
Waiting for the reply.....

Hi Chitharanjan,
Please note that all auto-bidirectional devices will have bias requirements for their supplies.
A good recommendation would be TXU0102 or TXU0202 (4 channel options are also available if needed) as UART signals are not auto-bidirectional and wouldn't recommend auto-bidirectional devices, thanks.
Best Regards,
Michael.
Thanks michael for the information......
Can I get the single directional device with the same footprint as TXS0104ERGYRG4? So that we can easily accommodate in our existing design.

Hi Chitharanjan,
TXU0304 also includes a VQFN (14) package, thanks.
Best Regards,
Michael.
Hi Michael,
Thanks for the part suggested..........
Since in our design we have used pins 13 to 2(TX) and 12-3(RX), in the suggested part RX I may need to connect to 5-10 so this may require our PCB routing changes. Even if it is footprint compatible we can't use this part in our design directly...
Kindly provide your input on this........
Thanks and Regards,
Chitharanjan M
Hi Chitharanjan,
The schematic seems to be showing only two channels being used. Would it be feasible to have TX for pin 10 and RX for 11, 12 or 13 below? thanks.
Best Regards,
Michael.
Dear Michael,
There is no feasibility of having TX for pin 10 and RX for 11, 12, or 13 in my PCB.
Can you please suggest the part which is exactly matching my schematic.?

Chitharanjan M
Hello Chitharanjan
Responses during the holiday season will be delayed, we will review and provided feedback when we return to the office.

Hey Chitharanjan,
The only other device that I can think of with the RGY package that is not auto-bidirectional level shifter is the AVC4T245. Note that this device isn't exactly P2P with your schematic since there are 2 additional pins for direction control.
