Hello Team,

I can't find in the data sheet where it states the SDA & SDC input capacitance. Can you tell me what these values are?

    Hi Renan,

    Pin capacitance is typically 3-7pF, what is the specific need for this detail on the TLA2528?

    Please see my customer response below:

    I'm currently working on a design that will incorporate 3 of these devices on an IIC bus.  According to the IIC standard the maximum capacitance I can have on this  bus is 400 pF which includes all the devices on this parallel bus and the board capacitance.  Your data sheet fails to include the individual key parameter as the input pin capacitance of SDA & SDC inputs for this device.

    You may want to mention this to your data sheet folks as this is a key parameter needed for calculating the actual total bus capacitance which is then needed to calculate the IIC driver pullup resistor values.  TI has a great amp note that explains how to design an IIC bus and I found it interesting that device input capacitance, which is a key component in this calculation, is not mentioned in the TLM2528 data sheet.
