DAC5311-Q1: what is the VinH limit at AVDD=3.3V ?

Hi experts,

the DAC5311-Q1 datasheet define the VinH limit of AVDD=5V and AVDD=1.8V, but not define when the AVDD=3.3V. can you tell me this limitation on AVDD=3.3V?

customer want to use AVDD=3.3V and 1.8V MCU as input control, will this work normally?

Hi,

As a general rule for this device, take VinH as 0.7* AVDD. I believe there is a mistake in the datasheet.

Hi AK,

do we have DAC5311 corresponding test data to confirm this.

if as general rule, customer's application will need an voltage level shifter.

Hi,

Yes, customer need level shifter if they are using 1.8V MCU and AVDD = 3.3V

Have a look at DAC5311 datasheet which has updated values for VinH.
