Hello,

My customer is looking for an ADC with the following conditions.

  - 14bit or higher and Analog input 4GHz or higher supported

Can you please recommend a TI ADC that meets the needs?

    Hi JH,

    Unfortunately we don't have a standalone ADC with input bandwidth beyond 4GHz in a 14-bit resolution. The AFE74XX and AFE79XX family will be the only devices capable of these requirement as of today. Please refer to this link showing a filtered list of high speed converters capable of this requirement. I would suggest to first look at the AFE7903 which contains a dual channel 3GSPS ADC with input bandwidth reaching past 7GHz, however note that the instantaneous bandwidth (IBW) is limited to a 400MHz band. If 12-bit is acceptable, then any device on this list can be chosen based on sample rate, channel count, or other system requirements.
