TPL0102-100: Terminal Leakage Current, etc.

Hello,

I'd like to first ask if TPL0102-100 can be used for a feedback resistor of a transimpedance amplifier to control its gain. Second, I'd like to know what's the terminal leakage current when both terminals are connected to a voltage. The data sheet defines the specs only when the other end is floating.

Hello Yokota,

You can use a digipot as feedback resistor for transimpedance amp.

The reason why we specify that one of the terminals is floating is to show how the parasitic current was measured. In order to isolate it, we float of the terminals. The maximum current measured is the maximum leakage current the device can produce, hence connecting power supply on both pins should not affect that current. So to answer your question, it is still going to be I leakage max.
