ADS1262: Problems using ain6 and ain7 as a differential input

There is no reason why you wouldn't be able to use AIN5/AIN6 as a differential input. The fact that AIN0-AIN4 can be used as REFx inputs just means that you can use those channels for an external reference input. I assume you are using the ADC internal VREF?

Can you tell me what happens when you try to measure on AIN5 and AIN6? You said you don't get any reading. Does that mean you are reading all zeros from the ADC? Have you checked with a RREG to make sure your WREG commands have taken effect?

I will try reading the RREG today, and yes I am using the internal VREF. Thank you for pointing out what the REFx ports were.

Please let us know what you discover. If you find additional communication issues, it would then be helpful if you can provide all communication signals on a logic analyzer to see what you are sending to the ADC and how the ADC is responding

If you're reading all differential sensors, are you sure you don't just have a math error?  0/1 2/3 4/5 6/7 would be the "expected" pairs. 5/6 would be one leg of two different signals.

If you've connected them differently, forgive me for intruding - I just happened to notice the odd channel numbers.
