TSC2007: NACK is returned on I2C line when TSC2007IPW temperature is less than -20 degree C.

Part Number: TSC2007

Hello guys,

One of my customers uses TSC2007 for their current products.
I2C communication error between controller and TSC2007 is happened when the product temperature is less than -20 degree C.
The I2C communication speed is 400kHz and signal voltage is 3.3V.
They compared waveforms of SDA and SCL between +25C and -20C. But any timing difference and voltage difference is not found.

Do you have any comment about the communication error cause?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Kazuya.

  • I am not sure here. Is the Ramp rate of the Power supply affected at cold temperatore.? I ask this because a POR Reset is detected on power up and at that time the address pins are read..

I would suggest powering off and on with a Fast DC Supplt in cold temperature might be a first experiment
