AFE11612-SEP: Power Sequence

Hi Team,

I had a question on the AFE11612-SEP power sequencing (section 8.1). In regards to the recommended hardware reset, can this be done via command or should it be done through the hardware reset pin. Also I plan on applying DVDD, AVDD, and AVCC simultaneously (tied to same rail) and then apply power to IOVDD. I know the datasheet shows a preferred power sequence but is there any problem with I am showing now?

Thanks for the feedback. One additional question here.

How about the hardware reset after we power up the device? Is that required to be done via hardware reset pin or can it be done through software command?

It is not required, but I do recommend it as a way to ensure a known state after a potential brownout (unless the system has voltage supervisors or is validated to ensure all supply rails fully collapse below the POR levels during restart events). The only risk if the system reset but somehow our device stayed on. I think it is good practice to hold HW RESET low during power up or to issue a software reset after startup. it is not required.
