DAC82002EVM: Error in installation files for Labview

Part Number: DAC82002EVM

Dear DAC-Engineers,

we recently ordered 2 DAC82002EVM Boards and want to use them with Labview. During installation, we always get an error which says that the installation failed with some remarks to "NI" Files (could this be referring to National Instruments - Labview?). Even tho the installation fails, we can still use the EVMs with the GUI-Application on Windows 10. But Labview can't see or talk to it.

Is there a way to get the Labview Driver directly from you, so we can install it manually, or is there any other way to integrate the EVM-Board into Labview? I went trough the installation files and there are loads of files with "NI" in their names. Would it be possible to reinstall these files manually? -but in which order?

Best Regards

Benjamin

  • Do you have an image of this error? I am not sure I understand.

The EVM uses a simple FT4222 controller that has lots of open-source or royalty free support.  My suggestion is that if you are building some larger device validation tool or you want to automate control with some greater application, you bypass the TI GUI and use the device functions direct.  Is that possible on your end?
