ADS8412: Power supply sequence

Hello,

I am designing A/D conversion circuit.

The A/D conversion circuit will use ADS8412.

The data sheet of ADS8412 does not include explanation of power supply sequence.

I considering below power supply sequence.

Please check if there is any oroblem with the power supply sequence.

< Power supply sequence >

1st : +VA power on (+5V)

2nd : +VBD power on (+3.3V)

Hi Mesh,

Your proposed sequence is fine. If there is no specified power sequence in the datasheet, you can usually use the ABS MAX table to see if there are any restrictions between the power rails. For the ADS8412, the indication is that VA should lead VBD or VBD should not exceed VA by more than 2.55V.
