ADS1299: Some Technical Issues

Hello E2E Experts,

Good day. 

For building a wearable EEG system for this purpose, we are trying TI's ADS1299 ICs. Currently, we have the demo board of ADS1299 and are trying its functions. Thus, we would like to request 2 samples of ADS1299 IC for further circuit design. I tried according to the instruction through "order now" however, I could not find the "request sample" anywhere on the webpage. 

Second, we encountered some problems while using the demo board of ADS1299: (1) do you have a python interface for the demo board of ADS1299? If you do have the application interface available, please kindly point to me where I can download the package and information. (2) We did try to upload ads1299evm-pdk.bin to 1299 according to the description in styxsh\dsploader.py. However, it didn't work. Could you please also point to me where I can find the correct way to control ads1299?

    For,

    1. "request 2 samples of ADS1299 IC"

    What does customer mean by request samples? Do they mean sample for free or they want to order parts?

    I will need to contact our market&sales department to understand the process.

    2. 

    For, " (1) do you have a python interface for the demo board of ADS1299? "

    No, there is not python interface for ADS1299EVM.

    For , "(2) We did try to upload ads1299evm-pdk.bin to 1299 according to the description in styxsh\dsploader.py."

    It's not clear to me what customer is saying or asking, could they clarify?

    The ADS1299EVM should only work with the GUI downloadable from TI"s website.
