TLV2541: Temp Query

Hi Team,

Customer requested support on below queries, can you please help. 

  1. In our application as per thermal analysis we have ambient air temperature around this parts coming is 94C. Is this a problem? Asking because we see TA rating for the part in datasheet is 85C max.  
  2. What is the thermal resistance of this part?. We not see any RJA/RJC values mentioned in datasheet. Please provide.  
  3. Can you please provide Power Dissipation vs Data Sampling Rate info for the part?
  4. Do you have any alternate with same pin out and package as direct replacement whose operating temp. max range is 125C?

    Hi Shinu,

    The TLV2541 is ~23 years old at this point so getting details that are not included in the datasheet will be a bit challenging.  For Q1 and Q3, what voltage level is VDD at?  Specific to Q3, we don't have any characterization data, but you can estimate the power based on the speed of the SCLK.  The operating current listed on page 10 is during the /CS active stage.  More detail on this can be found at the bottom of page 7.  For Q2, I'll see if a thermal model request was made.  For Q4, we do not have a high temp version of this device.
