AFE2256EVM: EVM failed to open UI following installation on win11

I recently installed the AFE2256_EVM_GUI_INSTALLER_v3.0.exe on my win 11 PC.


I installed the device driver which can be seen in my device manager output:

When I power the board the FPGA done is lights uo and so does LED12.
After a few seconds windows reports USB device not recognised and device manager reports



If I try to start the GUI (in admin mode) it hamgs on the splash screen, which I suppose is not to be unexpected.

Can anyone help?

    Thanks for your query.

    As a first step, can you try installing the drivers and GUI by following the instructions mentioned specifically for Windows 10 system in the installation guide? You can find the relevant documents on the mySecureSoftware (MSS) server (www.ti.com/mysecuresoftware/). Let me know if you face any issue in accessing the files.

    Since the device is NDA-restricted, can we take the discussion offline for detailed debug steps? We can setup a call as well as per your convenience to look into the issue more closely. Is it okay if we contact you directly regarding the issue?
