    Hi Marvin,

    ADS8689 is different from ADS8688 in terms of SPI timing and also command format. I would not suggest to modify the ADS8688's code for ADS8689. You just need to follow the datasheet especially the SPI timing in figure 6-3 to 6-6, and also refer to the table 7-5 (command format) and the section 7.6 (register map) to develop your code. Let me know if you have any questions about these (timing, command and registers).
