AFE5832LP: AFE5832LP Start Up sequence

HI,

I'm writing vhdl code to set up the AFE5832LP at start up, to generate a pattern.

I have followed the start up sequence as described in the datasheet but is not working, I have no signals coming from the devices.

I have attached the vhdl code for the setting up.

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I think you missed to attach the VHDL code.

    Anyway, can you please describe about you system and provide the following details:

    1. Are you using the customer EVM?

    2. Did you verify if the clock to the device is coming? A visual indication would be the device current. Enabling/disabling the clock should change the current consumption.

    3. Did you verify if the SPI is working? You can power down the device by writing SPI command and observe the change in current.

    4. If the above things are working, did you probe the LVDS outputs of the device and see if confirmed if you are getting correct common mode voltage and toggling with data.
