ADC3444: Trying to use SPICE model, seems to be missing majority of pins?

Part Number: ADC3444
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC3441

Hello,

So recently I downloaded the PSpice model for the ADC3441 from this webpage: https://www.ti.com/product/ADC3441. I'm trying to model a device that uses this component in LTSpice for "digital twin" purposes.

I then used the downloaded netlist to create a component in LTSpice to represent the ADC using the first .subckt directive. However based on the datasheet, this component is supposed to have 40+ pins, but on the Ltspice model there only appears to be 6 pins.

The Auto-Generated component looks like this:

Notice the lag of any digital output, making the model useless. Is there a big step I'm missing to get the other pins?

  • Hi David,

I think that means that not all functionalities in the chip were modeled.

Judging by the fact that there's no output pins, this model is probably for studying the loading effect, or whether your upstream circuitry is capable of driving it.
