Hi Team,

My customer want to interface external HART Modem to DAC8742HEVM for testing and they have 24V line out from Modem.

Can you please guide how to connect and test external HART Modem to DAC8742HEVM for testing.

Generally, we've only used the EVM to test basic communication through looping the HART signal back to itself through duplex mode. While there is a HART modulator and demodulator on the device, there isn't enough circuitry on the EVM to connect to a 24V supply similar to a remote transmitter.
