DAC3482EVM: DAC3482EVM CDCE62005 PLL problem

Part Number: DAC3482EVM

Hi

I have DAC3482EVM. I'm trying to configure the CDCE62005 integrated on the board. Although I do the same configuration, I see my clock signal, which should normally be set to 64Mhz, at different frequencies each time. I am using auto calibration but it is not working. can you help me please ?

BR

  • Ibrahim,

Are you using the CDCE62005 programming GUI to program the part, or the DAC3482EVM software?
Are you adjusting the loop filter to the GUI-recommended values?

Are the conditions below being met properly?

Are you certain that the required bits are being written to initiate the VCO calibration? This is required when any of the PLL settings are changed:

    Thanks,

    Kadeem
