Hello:

DAC101S101CIMM datasheet shows operate temperature is 235℃。10 seconds. But our actual operation temperature is 245℃。 Could you help to check with your technical whether we can operator in 245℃？if no, what is the highest temperature this part can bear? hope can get your information tomorrow .Thanks a lot~

Hi,

A more up-to-date datasheet is available here.

The operating temperature upper limit for the DAC101S101 is 105°C, while the Q1 version's limit is 125°C.

TI cannot guarantee the device is fully functional if you are past those limits.

The 235°C temperature you mentioned is the soldering temperature, are you asking if you can solder at a higher temperature?

Yes ,we need to know whether the soldering temperature can exceed 235℃。 Because our SMT machine operation temperature is 245℃。Tks~

Hi,

In the updated datasheet, the MSL Peak Temp shows the maximum reflow temp. For this device, it is 260°C, which would be fine for your machines.

More information about TI's MSL Ratings can be found here. The document also covers what times are suitable at what temperatures.
