DAC81416EVM: DACn register is write only or not ?

In the DACx1416EVM GUI the DACn registers (0x10 .. 0x1F) are marked as write only (W) where as the data sheet to the DAx1416 device declares them as R/W.

Similar to the 0x0E Trigger register which the EVM GUI declares as R/W but the DACx1416 datasheet marks it as (W) only.

Which is correct the GUI or the datasheet ?

(because the EMV GUI discards reads to registers that are declared as (W)rite only in the Figure. 9 in the DAC81416EVM manual)

Hi Mark,

1. All the DACn registers are write only, read back not available for these.

2. even though, TRIGGER (0x0E) is R/W. All the mentioned bits are self clearing bits, so they are also kind of write only.
