Hi,

I want to measure capacitance in the range of 100nF to 1000nF. I found some devices like FDC1004 for converting capacitance value into Digital value and provides output as the measurement of input capacitance. But, those ICs input range is in pF. Does those device can be capable of mesuring in the range of uF and nF. If not, Please suggest a suitable device to measure input capacitance of range 100nF to 1000nF.

Hello,

Can you provide more details about your application? What is the source of the input capacitance? Do you need exact capacitance values or are you just looking for a change in capacitance?

Hi Justin,

The Application is on the automation testing of an industrial device. We need to measure the capacitance of a PCB test point .Yes, we need to measure the capacitance of the pins every time for decision making accurately (1% of accuracy).

Hello,

Unfortunately, we don't have anything in our FDC product line that would work for this use case with that same range. The FDC1004 is our best device at measuring an exact capacitance value but is limited with a 115pF max input capacitance.
