TSC2017: TSC2017 behavior of PENIRQ Pin

Part Number: TSC2017

Hi all,

I would like to know the conditions for the PENIRQ Pin goes to Low.

I understand that one condition is when the panel is touched.

What conditions will it be forced to Low?

Best Regards,

Ryusuke

  • Page 19 of the datasheet explains the PENIRQ function.

    1. Powerdown Mode (PD0 = 0): If the panel is touched the PENIRQ pin goes low and this can be used as an interrupt to an external Microcontroller to wake up the system

    2.

Any command that activates the X+ and Y+ Driver also results in PENIRQ pin being low. Therefore before issuing such command the Iterrupt processing in the MCU should be disabled
