ADS8568: Gain error and gain error drift when external input to REFAP,REFBP,REFCP,REFDP

Dear data converter experts,

I have a question about gain error and gain error drift when external input to REFAP,REFBP,REFCP,REFDP.

I would eliminate gain error (0.5%) and gain error drift (10ppm/°C) from internal buffer.

In this case, how much gain error and gain drift error does SARADC have?

Hi!

Welcome to our e2e forum! The gain error and gain error drift are relative to the reference voltage. The internal reference of the ADS8568 is coming from an internal DAC and has the errors shown on page 10 of the datasheet under the REFERENCE VOLTAGE OUTPUT section. To understand the gain error and drift you might see with an external reference, you would need to review the associated datasheet for the initial errors and drift errors of that device.
