ADS1299: Input amplitude not observed at output

Part Number: ADS1299

Hello,

I am using ADS1299 with Bipolar supply voltages (+2.5V , -2.5V) and internal reference (4.5V) with 250 SPS. I want to give a signal from function generator and get the same signal at the output.

I am giving 10mVp-p signal from Function generator as input. Below is the connection setup,

The data logged is in microvolts amplitude.

Below is the logged data for gain = 1, (5000 samples). X -axis = Sample number, Y-axis = microvolt (uV)

Below is the logged data for gain = 24, (2000 samples). X -axis = Sample number, Y-axis = microvolt (uV)

Could you suggest if I am missing any settings? Why am I not able to produce the same sine wave of 10mVp-p at output? Please suggest what should I do.

Thank you,

V. Vedashree

  • Hi,

Are you using a customer PCBA or ADS1299' evaluation kit/board(EVM)?

Please use an ECG or EEG simulator that provide a more precise/accurate and clean differential voltage?

Have you tried the internal test signal first? It's suggested to get the correct internal Test signal first before moving on to external signal sources.

    Thank
