the MSOP-8 from the datasheet is now called VSSOP-8, right?

Thank you for your post.

Yes, VSSOP is the same as MSOP-8.

The package outlines and the land pattern data for both packages are available at the end of the ADS8326 data sheet. The DGK package has a body width of 3 mm, while the total package width for the MSOP-8 package is 3 mm.
