TPL0102-100: Connect two potentiometers in series

Yes, you can connect two digitpot channels in series to increase the end to end resistance. 

As an alternative, we suggest devices like DAC53701 or DAC53204 to control power supply outputs. These devices have higher resolution, programmability, slew rate control and offer higher accuracy as well.
