ADS1293: sample rate 500 SPS

Hi,

RnD used ADS1293 for application ECG, and RnD is needed to set the sample rate to 500 SPS. The datasheet is showed that ECG sample rate is as below.

In Table 8, How do we convert Output Data Rate to Sample Rate? Is ODR  same as  Sample Rate?

How do we set the register to sample rate 500 SPS?

    ODR(Output Data Rate) is not exactly as sample rate.

    The conventional "sample rate" is described in datasheet section 8.3.6 Sigma-Delta Modulator (SDM), but there is no option to change it.

    As mentioned , there is no exact sample rate concept and no option to change the sample rate.

    The only option to change the similar is called Output Data Rate(ODR).

    And, you are referring to the correct table 8 as well Table 8~11, there are fixed number of Output Data Rate can be selected, which is set by "SDM Running" clock frequencies AND the selection of R1, R2 and R3.

    There is no ODR 500 SPS option.
