Hi
For (ISO 80601-2-61) 201.13.101 test "Detection of PROBE FAULTS and PROBE CABLE EXTENDER faults"
I want to ask if there is a pin protection circuit design guide for INN and INP, especially when TXN/TXP and INN/INP are shorted.
Thank you.
Hi,
We are not familiar with the ISO tests and/or standard/regulation.
According to AFE4403 datasheet 8.4.2 Diagnostics, there is short detection.
But there is no short protection.
We don't have design guide for short protection.
Suggestion could be at the path/net where you observe/measure/think unwanted/unexpected high/excessive current could occur, you may add fuse there.
Thanks
