I'm considering using TSW14J57EVM and ADC12DJ5200. I'd like to sample the data that comes after a certain number of milliseconds following the arrival of the synchronization signal. Since the data volume would be massive if I were to capture all of it, I only want to capture values when they exceed a certain threshold. I have two questions:

Is there a mode where data is captured when it exceeds a threshold?
Are there any other methods to achieve this?

Hi Ryota,

This type of trigger on exceeding a threshold is not something we support with TSW14J57EVM. Trigger is possible within HSDC Pro, but due to memory constraint of the FPGA, our software can only save 524288 samples per channel, and at full sample rate (5.2GSPS) this is only around 100us (524288 / 5.2G). What you are wanting to do is entirely possible with custom HDL which you can create for this Altera FPGA, but TI cannot provide any support on customizing this.
