What is the difference between ADC sampling rate and data rate are they same or different

Dear Team

May I know the difference between ADC sampling rate and data rate .

If the sampling rate is 125Ksps,can I say data rate is also 125Ksps

Do you have a particular part number related to this query?

For a successive approximation register (SAR) converter, sample rate and data rate are the same thing. For a delta-sigma converter, the sample rate is dependent on the speed of the modulator clock and the data rate is dependent on the oversampling ratio of the digital filter.
