TX7316EVM: TX7316EVM

Part Number: TX7316EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TX7316

 Helle dears

I purchased the TX7316evm board as the transmitter board and the AFE5809evm and TSW1400 as the receiver and capture boards. Thanks for sending on time and your
company's response.
I have a few questions about the transmitter board.
1- The board does not work in off beamforming mode.
2- In the on beamforming mode, I do not capture data. Do I have to do special configurations on the board?
3- Can I connect the piezo directly to the board? I did this and could not get any data through the TSW1400.

Thank you!

Best regards,

  • Hi,

In the user guide of TX7316 EVM, the initial current number and voltage expected in different nodes are mentioned. Can you cross check if your setup matching these numbers?

TX7316 and TSW1400 are independent setups. First you can try to bring up TX7316 board. For on-chip beamforming mode, you have to follow initialization steps to get the output. Please refer to user guide for more details.

It is ok to connect piezo but before that better to bring up the EVM under default condition. Also when you test with piezo, you can try at HV supply set yo lower voltage like 5V. If all looks ok then only increase HV supply voltage.

    Thanks!
