ADS8694: ALARM and RST/PD Function

Hello,

I am wondering if I am not using Alarm function, how do I tie this pin or left it floating/NC?

I understand that RST/PD pin must always have a defined state , if I am not going to use Reset function, do I hard tie this pin to high so that the device is always awake?

    Hi Wayne,

    The Alarm pin can be left floating if it's not used since it's an output pin. 

    Your understanding is correct, this pins should be pulled up to high if you are not using a hardware reset, but a reset command (RST) is recommended.
