ADS9226 ADC chip, using SPI to communicate with the MCU, each channel has two SDOs, no SDI, is it different from the standard SPI? Is it compatible with conventional SPI, i.e. SCLK, MISO, MOSI, SS configurations?
Hello Kailun,
Thank you for your post.
The ADS9226 uses a simplified SPI configuration which does not use a data input signal. Instead, the device powers up in a fixed default mode of operation. There is no option to reduce the number of SDOs used for each ADC channel.
Other devices in this family of products can reduce the output connections to a single SDO pin per ADC channel, such as our ADS9224R.
Regards,
Ryan
