Hello,

My customer wants to evaluate ADS8689.
But we don't have ADS8689EVM. Instead, we have ADS8681 EVM-PDK.
Then they are asking me if this EVM can work with replacing ADS8681 by ADS8689.

I believe that this replacemenet doesn't have any problem for H/W side.
But I wonder if the GUI S/W works for ADS8689. Will it work with ADS8689?

    Hi Oba,

    I'm trying to answer your question on behalf of the primary support engineer. The key difference between these two ADCs is the sampling rate, the resolution is same (16-bit), so the customer can use the existing EVM GUI software to test the ADS8681EVM board with ADS8689 device as long as the sampling rate that is set in the GUI is less than 100ksps.
