ADC12DJ5200RF: JESD Packet structure

Part Number: ADC12DJ5200RF

Hi team,

Our application demands the use of ADC as 12-Bit, Dual Channel, DDC Bypass, 16 Lanes.

So either JMODE 3 or 41 has to be used according to table 7.23, page number 95-96 in TI datasheet for ADC12DJ5200RF part.

JESD packet structure of JMODE 41 is not clear.

Can you explain the difference between the packets of JMODE 3 and 41 along with their respective packet structure.

Thanks,

Annie

  • Hello Annie,

There is a typo for the ADC's lane mapping table on page 100. JMODE 3 and JMODE 41 should have the exact same lane mapping and the comment "Table 7-30 also applies to JMODE 41." should actually read table 7-29 applies to JMODE 41. I hope this helps clarify things a little more.

    Best,

    Eric Kleckner
