Should unused input pins on the TLC542 ADC be pulled to one of the supply rails? Are resistors needed or can the pins be directly connected to either rail?
I'm assuming that floating inputs may have problems with noise.
Thanks,
Amanda

Hi Amanda,
My suggestion for the unused inputs to the TLC542 would be to tie them to ground via a resistor - this would then give you the option to use that input sometime down the road. If cost is a sensitive issue, you can simply tie the unused inputs to ground directly.
