Hello,

My question: does this dac can work in a loop? for better understanding: if the dac has reach his maximum output voltage en the clock pulses continue does the DAC start again from 0?

Does every DAC do this or are there restrictions

  • Hi Ronald, 

    This device uses I2C to set the 8-bit DAC code which sets the DAC output voltage. The output does not increment via clock pulses like a counter. 

    This is an example of the I2C write sequence using the SCL and SDA pins on the device:
