DAC121S101QML-SP: Output Buffer

Hello, for a current design we are using the DAC121S101QML-SP. Now we need to provide an output current of up to 20mA. The signal is then transmitted via a harness of 1m. At the sensor side there is a load capacitance of up to 10uF.

Do you have any suggestion for a buffer component?

Using an op-amp might end up in oscillation do to the capacitive load.

Hey Markus,

A suitable device may be the LMP7704-SP. This could be designed with dual feedback in order to stabilize the buffer circuit. An example of the dual feedback method can be found within our Ti precision labs series. I have attached the PDF below however the corresponding video can be found under the Stability-Lab stability section of the Op amp TIPL.

Hello Chris,

thanks for your fast response. I will have a closer look to the LMP7704-SP. At first glance, the component looks good.

Thanks also for the reference to Precision-Labs. I looked in there once before, but didn't think of it now.
