Hello, 

On ADS8686S 16 CH ADC

I want to use external Voltage reference on REFIO pin. I want use REF5040 IC which has 4.096V Vout. 

Is it possible to use Vref 4.096V and DVDD 3.3V ? I am using 5V for AVDD.

    Hi Neel,

    Welcome to TI E2E forum. The external reference voltage for this ADC should be limited to 2.5V. Please see the recommendation below:

    DVDD can be the voltage between 1.71V and AVDD, so there is no problem to use 3.3V power supply for DVDD.
