ADC3663EVM: TSW1400 HDSC Pro Does Not Start

Part Number: ADC3663EVM

Hi,

I have installed the only version of this software available to download, 6.0, and it just does not work. The splash screen remains up and most of the menus are empty, and it gives the following error in the list:

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. The LabVIEW Runtime 64-bit version 2019 SP1 f1 was installed with it and seems ok.

Hi Chris,

We tried installing this on another PC here, downloaded from the TI.com site.

Everything worked just fine.

Can you uninstall everything and try again? Do you have other version of Labview running on the PC you are trying to install this on?

Maybe there is a conflict there.

Hi Rob,

I uninstalled and reinstalled and had the same issue. This PC is running Windows 10 Enterprise and has never had any Labview components installed before. I will try it on another PC.

Hi Chris,

We found another customer that had a similar issue, they used a clean PC or laptop, that did not have any previous Labview installations.

We are still trying to nail down exactly what files or versions of LV are causing the issue specifically. But the above recommendation does work.

Hi Rob,

I tried another PC and it did work. It's a bit confusing because the PC that I installed this on originally had never had any LabView installation. I tried installing as admin and that didn't have any effect.
