ADS1299-6: Is it possible to process EEG, ECG and EMG signals using a single chip?

Part Number: ADS1299-6

Hello, I am working on EEG, ECG, and EMG and I plan to use ADS1299-6 in my design but I am not sure about the chip features. Is it possible to process EEG, ECG and EMG signals using a single chip?
1 - (EEG and ECG) or (ECG and EMG) or (EEG and EMG) pairs must be able to work simultaneously.
2 - It will be much better if EEG, ECG, and EMG are performed at the same time.
At the same time, if I want to increase the number of channels, will it be possible to synchronize the systems with each other using more than one chip?

Best Regards

  • Hello Atif,

The signal chain supports measuring the EEG, ECG and EMG signals separately. You will need to run tests and look for interference across the signal modalities.

I am also not sure how biasing (for example RLD for ECG and EEG / EMG biasing) would work across the signal modalities.

Kindly refer to the datasheet for multiple device configuration.
