ADS8332EVMV2-PDK: wrong sampling rate at the eval board GUI GUI

Part Number: ADS8332EVMV2-PDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS8332

Hi,

I tried to use the evaluation board of ADS8332 to see the performance, and I saw something that I didn't fully understand.

I injected the following sine wave to the evaluation board:

around 2.5V peak to peak, 1 KHz sine wave (attached a screenshot from the scope).

I configured the GUI to 300KSPS.

the second attached picture is the 1KHz signal that we can see at the GUI:

I was expecting to see around 300 samples per single period of the sine wave, but I see around 40 samples.

also, when I change the sample rate at the GUI, it doesn't really affecting the signal that I see at the GUI.

would you please advise?

thank you very much!
